An article by Dr. Patricia Allen, food systems & society department chair, was selected for inclusion in a "best of" retrospective issue of the esteemed journal Gastronomica.
The Summit catalog is the shared library catalog of the Orbis Cascade Alliance, an organization of more than 30 academic libraries in Oregon and Washington.
To login to your Summit account, use your last name and Marylhurst ID number.
The status of your Summit requests will display in your Summit account. All materials that you have currently checked out will display in your Shoen Library Account.
When visiting other Summit libraries, you will be able to check out materials according to the policies in place at the host library. You will need to provide your Marylhurst ID and confirm your status with Marylhurst University by logging into your Summit account at the library. Upon confirming your status, you will be added into the host library's system.
Likewise, patrons of Summit member libraries may borrow Shoen Library materials. You'll need to presenting your library card and verify current registration with a participating member institution.
Summit patrons may also return their materials at Shoen Library.
Marylhurst students, faculty and staff may borrow Summit materials. Books may be checked out for 42 days (six weeks).
