Summit Borrowing

When searching the Shoen Library catalog you will also be searching the Summit catalog, which is the shared library catalog of the Orbis Cascade Alliance, an organization of 37 academic libraries in Oregon, Washington, and Idaho.

When you log into your Shoen Library account you will be able to order Summit books and other items. The status of your Summit requests will display in your library account, and all materials that you have currently checked out will display in your Shoen Library Account.

Visiting Summit Libraries

When visiting other Summit libraries, you will be able to check out materials according to the policies in place at the host library. You will need to provide your Marylhurst ID and confirm your status with Marylhurst University by logging into your Shoen Library account at the library. Upon confirming your status, you will be added into the host library's system.

Likewise, patrons of Summit member libraries may borrow Shoen Library materials. You'll need to present your library card and verify current registration with a participating member institution.

Summit patrons may also return their materials at Shoen Library.
