Dr. Laura Beer, chair of the art, music and creative arts therapies department, was the lead author on Contemplative Practices of Higher Education Professionals, published in spring 2015 in the Journal of Transformative Education.
Shoen Library offers a selection of equipment to current Marylhurst students, staff and faculty.
Faculty may request laptops and projectors for instructional use in the classroom.
The following equipment is available on a first-come, first-served basis for use outside the library:
Audio Cassette Recorder/Player
Most items may be borrowed for three days upon presentation of a Marylhurst ID card. All equipment must be returned directly to the circulation desk during regular hours. There is a $1.00 per day late fee.
Laptops, headsets, and headphones are also available for in-library use.
