Host Family Living
In addition to apartments and roommate housing options, international students can also stay with an American family. Host family living is only available for international students and is coordinated through Pacific International Academy. International Student Hostel
The International Student House, owned and operated by HI-Portland, Northwest; is a hostel designed for international students in Portland. In 2003, the organization branched away from its traditional hostel business and added to its outreach while still keeping with the philosophy of meeting the needs of travelers. The hostel saw a need to provide longer term lodging for the many international students coming to Portland.
