The Marylhurst University internship program is committed to meeting the following objectives:

• Internships will be a new and significant learning opportunity for all students;
• Internships will be related to the student's individual degree and synthesize previous learning with new life experience; and
• New learning through internships will be accomplished in an acceptable site and supported by appropriate supervision.

Internship Handbook

The internship handbook is required reading for all internship applicants. This handbook applies to most Marylhurst internships and practicums. Interior design, art therapy counseling, education and music therapy students will receive internship information from their academic advisers.

Internship Orientation

You must attend an internship orientation prior to beginning your internship. Orientations are offered twice each term. You can also complete the online internship orientation at your convenience.
