Cap & Gown

Faculty who participate in the commencement ceremony must wear appropriate academic regalia. If you do not own regalia, Marylhurst will rent it for you.

Orders for regalia should be placed through the campus store by email. If you have not ordered regalia through the campus store previously, you will need to include the following information:

  • Height & weight
  • Cap size
  • Highest degree and field of study
  • Name, city, and state of the institution granting that degree

Regalia orders must be received by April 1, 2016. Please note that if you do not have a cap and gown and do not order one before this date, you will not be able to participate in the processional.

Pick up your regalia at the campus store anytime between June 6, 2016 and the Friday before commencement. Return your regalia either at the Oregon Convention Center after the commencement ceremony has ended or at the campus store anytime the following week.

If you have any questions about regalia, please contact Michelle Krause at 503.534.7032 or by email.
