Women of Distinction Awards Luncheon
Wednesday, February 25, 2009
Multnomah Athletic Club
11:30 am - 1:30 pm
Competence, leadership and service are core tenets of the Marylhurst University mission. The Women of Distinction Luncheon was created to pay tribute to successful women who depict these ideals in their chosen fields. Specifically, the awardees have demonstrated excellence in the Arts, Faith, Science & Business and Service. They are successful professionals and philanthropists who have persevered in spite of many challenges and obstacles. The Women of Distinction Luncheon is intended as an annual celebration of quiet achievement.
A total of 225 guests attended the first annual luncheon in September 2002 at the Portland Hilton. Collectively they contributed $71,850 toward Marylhurst University and our students, exceeding our projected goal by 15 percent.
