The Golf Classic is a first rate tournament that not only guarantees a day of healthy outdoor activity, but supports Marylhurst University’s academic programs and offers financial support for deserving students. Every year community partners and business leaders generate more than $75,000 to $100,000 in funds to support education at Marylhurst.
The tournament is one of the most renowned tournaments in the state and includes an innovative scoring system, up-to-the minute leader board, and the optional "Honey Pot" wager that promotes friendly competition among the teams. (The more golfers who participate, the more there is to win.) Following a day of golf, participants are treated to a catered banquet, prizes and trophies. Sign your team up now!
All sponsors receive prominent recognition in all printed materials, banners, course signage, a link from the Marylhurst University Web site and verbal recognition during the awards banquet. Each team receives recognition on banners, signage and all promotional materials. First, second, and third place teams receive cash prizes. Each team member receives tee prizes, lunch and dinner, plus opportunities to win various prizes. Cash prizes are available for teams who participate in the Honey Pot!
