Federal Pell Grant Program and
Federal Supplemental Educational Opportunity Grant (FSEOG)

The Federal Pell Grant Program and Federal Supplemental Educational Opportunity Grant (FSEOG) provide grants to eligible undergraduates who are admitted and enrolled in a degree program. Eligibility is based on need as determined by an analysis of the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). Applications are accepted throughout the academic year, although the FSEOG funds are limited and early application is recommended.

Oregon Opportunity Grant Program

The Oregon Opportunity Grant Program provides grants to eligible Oregon resident undergraduates who are admitted to a degree program and enrolled at least half-time. Eligibility is based on need as determined by the Oregon State Scholarship Commission based on an analysis of the FAFSA. Early application is recommended; funds are limited.

Federal College Work-Study Program

The Federal College Work-Study Program provides funds in the form of wages for part-time jobs on campus. Federal work-study is available to undergraduate and graduate students who are admitted to a degree program and enrolled at least half-time. Eligibility is based on need as determined by an analysis of the FAFSA and is subject to obtaining a position on campus.

Federal Perkins Loan Program

The Federal Perkins Loan Program provides long-term, low-interest loans to eligible undergraduate and graduate students admitted to a degree program and enrolled at least half-time. Eligibility is based on need as determined by an analysis of the FAFSA. Early application is recommended; funds are limited.

Federal Family Education Loan Program (FFELP)

The Federal Family Education Loan Program (FFELP) includes the Subsidized Stafford Loan, the Unsubsidized Stafford Loan, the PLUS Loan for graduate students and the PLUS Loan for parents of dependent undergraduate students. Stafford loans are available to undergraduate and graduate students admitted to a degree program and enrolled at least half-time. Subsidized Stafford loans are awarded based on need; unsubsidized Stafford loans and PLUS loans are not based on financial need. PLUS Loans are subject to credit approval by a lender. Applications are accepted throughout the academic year.
