If you have received an official award letter from the Marylhurst Office of Financial
Aid, you can use the table below to determine whether your financial aid will cover
your full cost of attending the university. Please use the information included in
your award letter to calculate your total cost of attendance.
A few important notes:
This tool is only useful to students who have received an official award letter from
our financial aid office. Please do not rely on it for calculating your cost of attendance
based on other preliminary estimates you have received.
Please make sure the number of credits you enter is consistent with the number of
credits your financial aid award is based on. If you plan to take more or fewer credits
in any one term than what is listed in your award letter, please contact our financial
aid office to fill out the necessary paperwork to adjust your aid award.
Tuition rates are re-determined each summer. For example, if you have an award letter
for the 2012-13 academic year (fall 2012 through summer 2013), the tuition rates for
summer 2013 are only estimated because 2013-14 tuition has not yet been set.
In the Estimated Tuition Costs section, enter the number of credits you will take
in a full year in each of the tuition categories. For example, if you plan to take
6 standard undergraduate credits per term in fall, winter and spring, you would enter
18 credits in undergraduate box of the calculator. If you are an undergraduate in
the Accelerated Online Program but will be taking some non-AOP courses, your tuition
for those courses will be the standard undergraduate rate, not the AOP rate. You may
have credits listed in both categories, so make sure to enter the non-AOP course credit
hours as undergraduate (standard).

If your financial aid package is greater than your tuition charges, our Office of
Student Accounts will issue you a check for the difference to help pay your other
educational costs, including books, living expenses and transportation to and from
classes.
If your financial aid package does not cover the full cost of your tuition, please
make arrangements with the student accounts office to pay the remaining balance.
