The Cultural & Historical Studies Department at Marylhurst University

The Cultural & Historical Studies Department is dedicated to interdisciplinary inquiry about historical and contemporary cultures.

Cultural and Historical Studies is informed by current theories and methods from philosophy, literary theory, social sciences, social history, media studies, gender studies and film.

The department offers a variety of courses in cultural, historical and philosophical topics, and is the home of history, social philosophy and language courses at Marylhurst University.
