Become a MentorThank you for considering becoming a mentor! Our students and recent alumni need your support in order to further their personal and professional development. We greatly appreciate your willingness to give back to the Marylhurst community. How To Join
1) Complete the Mentor Application. The Program Coordinator will email content that explains what is expected and encouraged from you as a new mentor. We will also address any questions that you may have about mentoring. How It Works: Simple as 1, 2, 3!
1) Your profile will be posted on our secure Web site within my.marylhurst.edu, accessible to students and alumni via login. Mentees will notify the Program Coordinator if they believe that you would be an appropriate mentor for them. 2) The Program Coordinator will send the mentee's profile to you, at which point you will have the option to confirm the mentorship. Once you have confirmed, the Program Coordinator will give your contact information to the mentee, who will contact you to arrange your first meeting. 3) Review the For Mentors pages for useful tools to plan your first meeting with your mentee. Contact the Program Coordinator if you are in need of any additional resources or information. | |||||||
