Lá na Gaeilge Theatre at Marylhurst University is casting Brian Friel’s three-act play about the radical impact language and story have on the identity and hearts of rural Ireland in 1833 during the British mapping and translation of Irish place names into English. Performance is held in conjunction with the 4th Annual Irish Language Immersion Day.
