Donna had a long career in hotel and resort management that took her to many beautiful
locations, but she chose to leave that career for the field of college admissions
where she has been serving students for nearly 15 years.
Donna loves to help people grow and to see them achieve new levels of accomplishment
in their lives. For her, Admissions is a place where students can talk about the possibilities
and "what-ifs." It is a place where she can listen to dreams and aspirations, fears
and concerns— a place where she and her team can identify resources and help remove
obstacles. Donna considers it an honor to assist students on this journey toward higher
learning.
Favorite thing about Portland: Friendly people, musicians and artists, green space. You can breathe here.
Favorite thing about Marylhurst: The living history of Marylhurst in "serving the under-served" and welcoming those
from all backgrounds and beliefs. This is a place with heart and soul where students
discover a depth of knowing they never knew existed!
