Undergraduate Admissions Counselor
Brenda has lived all over the world — from California to Turkey to Japan — so it's no surprise that she is our undergraduate admissions counselor with a specialty in international admissions. After teaching English as a second language for over 10 years, Brenda decided to switch to international admissions. She enjoys receiving phone calls from all over the world and assisting international students to find their academic and vocational passions.
Favorite thing about Portland: Portland has an amazing community of creative, forward-thinking people. Where else would you find the Church of Elvis, cargo bike-based businesses, food carts and public Tuba Christmas performances?
Favorite thing about Marylhurst: Marylhurst really fulfills its mission of embracing the uniqueness and dignity of each person. I love the beauty of the campus — and that I can hear frogs outside my office window when it rains.
