Dr. Roussell has completed coursework in a graduate Counseling and
Master of Public Administration program. He has developed and managed program curriculum
in the certificates and degrees. He worked on and received the accreditation for the
Maser of Divinity degree in 2004. He has developed and managed the department budget,
recruited, hired, orientated, evaluated, and supported professional development of
adjunct faculty members.
As chair, he has facilitated and coordinated a department assessment
program for Northwest Commission of Colleges and Universities accreditation in collaboration
with department assessment and accreditation committee. He has recruited, enrolled,
advised, and taught students including evaluation and critique of Master's Thesis-Projects.
He advised and participated with Administration and a Board member in a meeting with
Archbishop Vlazny on Catholic Identity and Excorde Ecclesiae. He has collaborated
with University Ministry staff, and assisted in Homecoming and Baccalaureate liturgies,
and Masses.
While serving as the coordinator and manager of St. Charles Medical Center's hospital pastoral care department, he provided consultation on spiritual issues; Catholic identity, Mission/Philosophy issues to the local Catholic Bishop, hospital board members/administration, medical center personnel, local churches and community. He facilitated pastoral education programs for pastoral health care volunteers, educational programs for clergy/ ministers, participated in staff and community education programs, and served on the Bio-medical Ethics and Hospital Institutional Board Committees.
He assisted in the design of the Loyola Marymount University Master of Religious Education extension program in Bakersfield, California. He taught courses in this graduate program. He has taught courses and given workshops in parishes, taught and acted in drama ministry and performances, and taught in high schools, and a prison.
