Teaching Strategies in the Content Area: Language Arts

About

Sarah has taught language arts to high school students in Astoria and Hillsboro for the past 11 years. She has served in a variety of leadership positions, including department chair, site council member, International Baccalaureate coordinator for instruction and assessment, instructional coach and mentor teacher. She also has been active on committees focused on proficiency-based teaching and learning, assessment for learning, professional learning communities, small learning communities and educational equity.
