Prior to joining Marylhurst's graduate education faculty, Lynne was a school administrator at the elementary and middle school level in Oregon and New Mexico, and a fifth- and sixth-grade teacher in California and Oregon. She also has served as an adjunct faculty member at Portland State University and Lewis & Clark College.
