Eric Stone has been a high school guidance counselor for over 15 years (and educator for over 20 years), most recently at Clackamas Middle College, a North Clackamas Charter High School, for the past 10 years. Prior to that he worked six years at Tigard High School, also as a high school counselor.

A special education teacher (of middle school behavioral and emotionally disturbed students), turned counselor, he has been teaching at Portland State for seven years as an adjunct professor in the counseling and curriculum and instruction departments.

In his spare time, Eric teaches at a Wednesday night high school program, tutors math, and leads a running group for his students so they can learn goal achievement through fitness.
