Classes Taught - Global Manager
In addition to teaching for the MBA program, Sam is a Strategic Sourcing Manager for a large, multinational electronics corporation. His responsibilities include managing the sourcing strategy for custom electronic parts required for our products. This work requires him to travel to Asia and Europe to work on purchase agreements, lead project reviews, and audit production facilities. In his over 20 years of experience, he has witnessed periods of incredible growth, several cycles of downsizing, and the globalization (through outsourcing) of the manufacturing operation. This experience has allowed him to watch firsthand how changes in management and strategy can affect the organizational behavior, culture, strategic direction, and performance of a company.
