Father Rick Ganz, SJ, has been a member of the Oregon Province of the Society of Jesus (Jesuits) since 1973. He has served as a teacher, administrator, and trustee at Jesuit high schools and universities. He is a retreat master and spiritual director and speaker, having given retreats and talks to Catholics and non-Catholics throughout the United States, Canada, and Europe for the last thirty years. His academic concentrations are in ancient philosophy, early Christian theology (patristics), systematic theology, and Christian spirituality. He also serves as Vice President for Community Relations with Marylhurst University.
