About
David Etlinger is a practicing studio engineer and audio researcher. The title of his dissertation is "A Musically Motivated Approach to Spatial Audio for Large Venues." It investigates sound in space at the intersection of acoustics, psycho-acoustics and aesthetics. David is an executive committee member of the Portland section of the Audio Engineering Society, and also performs on guitar, piano and electronics.
