If you are selected, you'll be asked to audition at a specific time on the published audition date. Performance auditions are scheduled by performance area. Interviews are scheduled around the performance audition. Please set aside the whole day in order to participate in the entire process. Those not invited to audition will be notified.
What should I expect at the audition?
Download audition guideline information including what to expect at the audition, repertoire guides and information about interviews and other assessments.
Am I accepted?
The music faculty will make admissions recommendations after the February auditions and assessments/interviews. The department will inform the Office of Admissions of these recommendations, and will inform candidates by mail. Applicants must meet all university requirements before we offer an official acceptance. Students who submit recordings will only be granted a provisional acceptance until other assessments and interviews are completed.
