Meagan Lawler is the executive director of Hawthorne Gardens Assisted Living & Memory Care and serves on the board of the Oregon Gerontological Association.
Meagan returned to Oregon from her studies in Europe and was hired by Rogue Valley Medical Center in Medford, as clinical director of a residential chemical dependency treatment program for adolescents. She was hired as director of Family Reconciliation Services by the State of Washington to develop an innovative state-funded program which placed master's level therapists in family homes to resolve conflict and avoid placement of children outside of the home whenever possible. Concurrently, Meagan was clinical consultant to a number of youth and family service centers, mental health facilities and hospitals. She was on the Washington State Board of developing professional competencies for licensure for marriage and family therapists. She was active in training professionals for certification in family therapy. She was named clinical director of a Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JCHAO) licensed psychiatric residential treatment facility for significantly mentally ill children.
She earned a certificate in gerontology from Marylhurst University.
