
Tony Coles Named Senior VP at Clear Channel
Communication studies alum Tony Coles has been promoted to senior vice president of programming for the west region of Clear Channel Media and Entertainment.

A percussionist and board-certified music therapist, Ted Owen received his Bachelor of Music from California State University, Long Beach, and continues to participate in drum circles, play jazz drums and teach percussion.
After moving to the Portland area, Owen eventually joined the university relations staff at Pacific University as Director of Creative Services. He also served as an adjunct instructor for individual percussion studies and directed the percussion ensemble for the university.
In 1992, he formed Barnebey & Owen, Inc. specializing in strategic marketing communication design work primarily for clients in the nonprofit sector.
Owen has also completed the HealthRhythms group drumming facilitators training conducted by Remo, Inc. He was a presenter at the 2007 Drum Circle Facilitators Conference in South Carolina.
