Louise Neilson is a regular presenter at Oregon Mediation Association conferences. She is the author of an advanced mediation text, Mediating with Picasso: Relying on your Inherent Creativity when you Need it Most. Her mediation experience includes police/citizen disputes for the city of Portland, workplace disputes for the US Postal Service, and volunteer work for the Multnomah County district small claims court. Her professional associations include the Oregon Mediation Association, Association for Psychological Type and the Creative Education Foundation.
At Marylhurst, Louise is our faculty adviser for the student group SOLUTIONS, which promotes and advances skills in conflict resolution and negotiation. She was a recipient of our Excellence in Teaching Award in 2011.
