BA in Communication

Society transforms itself and cultural communities bridge their differences through communication. The knowledge, competence and mastery of human communication is essential for success in every professional and social setting.

In the BA in Communication program, you learn to listen, reason, question, present and persuade in a more responsive, informed and effective manner.

Contemporary communication is complicated by the advancing pace and reach of information technologies. Marylhurst offers coursework to help meet these challenges, in seminar-style and Web-supported classes — the ideal surroundings for practicing and honing communication skills.

The BA in Communication offers concentrations in advocacy & relational communication and training & development. You also have the option of designing an individualized major.
