The Future Designers of Marylhurst
The Future Designers of Marylhurst is a student organization which bridges the gap from student life to professional life by providing supplemental education, networking opportunities and design project experiences. Everyone enrolled in the interior design program is automatically a member of this organization.
Through this group, you will connect with professional interior designers and get important exposure to professional practices that supplements classroom learning.
Visit the Future Designers of Marylhurst website, managed by our students.
The Marylhurst interior design program is affiliated with many professional organizations through the faculty, students and the Future Designers of Marylhurst. Sixty percent of the faculty are LEED-accredited professionals, more than one-third are NCIDQ certificate holders. All of the faculty are active members and leaders in one or more of the following professional organizations:
International Interior Design Association (IIDA)
American Society of Interior Designers (ASID)
Northwest Society of Interior Designers (NWSID)
Interior Design Collaborative (IDC-Oregon)
American Institute of Architects (AIA)
Interior Design Educators Council (IDEC)
