The mission of the Marylhurst University Business and Real Estate Programs is to embrace business education as a transformative process. We positively impact society by creating ethical leaders prepared for the realities of a diverse, complex and ever-changing world in the Marylhurst tradition of moral courage, service, quality and passion.
We take our mission very seriously. We are also very proud of the history and tradition of Marylhurst University and strive to carry forward the tradition and values that the Sisters of the Holy Names of Jesus and Mary instilled when they founded the University in 1893.
Our students and graduates are cherished members of the Marylhurst community. Our promise is that students will study, collaborate and learn in a safe, ethical, dynamic, stimulating, innovative and caring environment. Our graduates are equipped to effectively and ethically manage and lead in a very complex and changing world. They add tremendous value to their communities and organizations.

Each faculty member brings relevant, tested knowledge from the workplace into the classroom. Our faculty truly care about their students and treat them with dignity and respect.
