Jennifer Sasser to Speak on Issues Facing Gerontologists
Jennifer Sasser will be the keynote speaker at the 2009 Oregon Gerontological Association Annual Conference. She will also participate in the Metropolitan Senior Network's panel discussion on ethical marketing.
On August 5, Dr. Sasser will join representatives from Elders in Action, Oregon Health Care Association and Medcure for a panel discussion on ethical marketing issues facing those who work with the aging and their families. The event is sponsored by the Metropolitan Senior Network, a personal and professional development and business networking league designed to educate, support and provide resources to marketing and community relations professionals in the healthcare industry.
On August 7, Dr. Sasser will give the welcome at the OGA annual conference. Rather than a keynote presentation, she will offer an interactive opening session. This collaborative learning experience will coalesce around strong ideas and critical questions that get to the heart of the work in the field of gerontology.
