Dina Hartzell, faculty, and Heather Davis, student in the Master of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies (MAIS) program, presented papers at the Mythology of Violence conference in Santa Barbara in April 2008.
Dina's paper was entitled Violations and Restorations of Myth and Place. Heather's presentation was titled Honored Warriors and Nameless Soldiers.
The conference was sponsored by the Foundation for Mythological Studies and Pacifica Graduate Institute, Santa Barbara, California.
