The Top 10 players on Portland's visual arts scene

Excerpt from an article written by D.K. Row for The Oregonian, January 26, 2007.

The 10 who topped the list – patrons Arlene Schnitzer and Sarah Miller Meigs, Portland Art Museum chief Brian Ferriso, dealer Elizabeth Leach, Pacific Northwest College of Art president Tom Manley, Portland Art Center founder Gavin Shettler, developer Jim Winkler, Regional Arts & Culture Council director Eloise Damrosch and curators Terri Hopkins and Stephanie Snyder – represent an opportunity to examine a local art scene that has grand, adventurous aspirations.
