Marylhurst University offers a comprehensive benefits package. Included is a tuition
waiver program, a generous 403(b) retirement plan, flexible spending accounts, the
choice of two medical insurance plans (a health maintenance organization and a preferred

Dr. Susan Carter, interim chair of the MA in Interdisciplinary Studies Department, was named vice president of the Pacific Northwest Region of the American Academy of Religion / Society of Biblical Literature in May 2013.
