Leadership in the Arts Award

The Leadership in the Arts Award is presented to an individual whose promotion of and leadership in the fine arts has enriched this community. The recipient has contributed their time, energy and resources to make the arts accessible to the community, to encourage and support artists in the creative process and to support education in the arts. Marylhurst University has always viewed art and music education as integral components of a liberal arts education. The recipient sustains that philosophy through helping to assure that students of all ages are exposed to the arts during their education.
